About Bakery On O'connell

Bakery On O'Connell is a family owned and ran business. We opened in March of 2003 at our original location of 44 O'Connell street. The demand for hot pies and donuts in the late hours of the night drove our business to become a 24/7 bakery, available to anyone at any hour.

In 2015 we expanded by moving into our now home of 128-130 O'Connell Street.

We have spent over 20 years creating an array of delicious cakes, pastries, slices and more which are all hand crafted by our professional baking team.

We are situated a few minutes by vehicle or a 15 minute walk from the heart of the city, in the iconic and historical food hub of North Adelaide on busy O’Connell St.

Take a beautiful stroll from Rundle Mall along King William St past the Festival Centre, Elder Park, River Torrens, Adelaide Oval, St Peters Cathedral and up the hill into the local and vibrant community of North Adelaide.

North Adelaide has a lot to offer tourists, visitors and locals with great food, history, amenities, hospitals, the prestigious Adelaide Oval, golf courses and is gateway to the Northern and Western suburbs of Adelaide!
